yes but we're talking "we should be in afghanistan looking for the effer instead of in iraq getting someone else", nick my girl.

its not that i dont think saddam was a jerkface. he was. but osama caused 911. i mean....duh. dont take our best troops away from that hunt to go to iraq. just my opinion.

Jenna, we are in Afghanistan looking for him in the most efficient way. Pouring tons of troops into the Waziristan region actually decreases irregular operations effectiveness, because the smaller the military footprint, the more cooperative the population tends to be.

See, a manhunt is best conducted with small teams of special operations forces, not 150,000 line infantry. The hunt for UBL in Afghanistan is being executed exactly as the successful hunt for Saddam Hussein was in Iraq--elite forces tuned in to the intel pipeline actively tracking him, with heavy backup standing by to move in if necessary. It's with this same strategy that we'll eventually capture bin Laden, not by flooding the country with troops.
